Gallery Launches Its Sixth Store
Malaysia-based
luxury watch retailer,
Swiss Watch Gallery has officiated its
sixth Rolex store at Bangsar, after previous
openings at Pavilion KL, Suria KLCC,
Gurney Paragon Mall Penang, The Flying
Emporium (KLIA 1) and Resorts World
Sentosa. Measuring at 750sqf, the newest
Rolex Boutique was customised and
renovated according to Rolex’s global
blueprint for its retail premises. Its unique
design element and furnishings reflect
Rolex’s commitment to modern luxury
without forsaking tradition.
“Bangsar Shopping Centre is not only
popular among Kuala Lumpur’s society
influencers, it is also an exceptional loca-
tion for high-end shopping. With six Rolex
boutiques, we are now in a strategic posi-
tion in reaching our key local customers,”
said Sharan Valiram, Executive Director of
Valiram Group.

a pioneering force in corporate citizen-
ship and community service, Timberland
has made positive impacts on thousands
of communities around the world – from
its home in Stratham, New Hampshire to
the Horqin desert of China. June 5, 2014
marked a historic event for the brand,
with Timberland employees around
the world celebrating the one millionth
volunteer hour served.
Starting on Earth Day in April and
for the past several weeks, Timberland
employees around theworld have engaged
in service projects in their local communi-
ties. In Malaysia, Timberland staff took
part in the RIMBA Project, overseen by
Timberland Celebrates One Millionth Community Service Hour
UMCARES (the University of Malaya’s
environmental secretariat), with the goal
of maintaining equilibrium between the
biodiversity found on the campus.
Through the Path of Service Program,
Timberland staff along with several vol-
unteers monitored water quality along the
Rimba Ilmu streamwith UMCARE’sWater
Warriors, a group dedicated to the revival
and rehabilitation of water bodies in UM.
Besides that, the team also harvested trees
for future replanting efforts.
“As an outdoor brand − our logo is a
tree, after all−protecting the environment
is very important to Timberland. Couple
that with our 22-year history of community
service, and you can see why the weeks
surrounding Earth Day mark the perfect
time for us to pull on our boots andmake a
difference,” saidAtlantaMcIlwraith, senior
manager of Community Engagement for
Timberland.
“This year is especially exciting as we
close in on our one millionth service hour.
We are deeply grateful to the employees
and partners who have served with us
along theway. We look forward to the next
million hours, and the continued positive

to Malaysia as they celebrated in style,
toasting to the successful opening of the
boutique. Guests during the evening were
privileged to view iconic Rolex timepieces
in the newest boutique with a bevy of
gorgeous models showcasing the latest
collection of Rolex watches.
