S.E.A Aquarium by Resorts World
Sentosa
Upon
entering, be prepared to be breathlessly
taken away by themagnificent ‘Shipwreck’ habitat
reminiscent of the Karimata Strait & Java Sea.
Currently the largest oceanarium in theworldwith
tanks totalling 12million gallons, it is home to over
100,000marine animals of over 800 species, across
10 zones of 49 different habitats. The aquarium
very cleverly plays with the unique features of
the seas surrounding Singapore and beyond,
such as the extremely common shipwrecks that
evolve into thriving marine habitats around the
South East Asian region. The exhibit-habitats
are artificial reef systems modelled after natural
surroundings. With exhibits of marine creatures
such as majestic manta rays, gargantuan goliath
groupers, hammerhead sharks and assorted
gentle sea giants from the Andaman Sea to the
Persian Gulf, the S.E.A Aquarium has something
for everyone. Come experience the majesty and
variety of vibrant ocean life right in the comfort
of Singapore. Open daily from 10a.m. to 7p.m.
