ASUS Malaysia Hosts LAN Party
ASUS
, the world’s best-selling mother-
board and top three consumer notebook
brand, had once again successfully hosted
its annual event, Master DIY Tour for the
third year running in Malaysia. Themed
‘BYOC LAN Party’ (short term for Bring-
Your-Own-Computer Local Area Network
Party), it was the first ever LAN-based
gaming event hosted by ASUS Malaysia.
The event was done in collaboration
with Cyberview and MaGIC to nurture
continual interest in custom DIY PC
building amongst the local PC enthusiasts
and the gaming communities.
Over 90 individuals participated in the
event, which was also recorded as the first
and largest gaming get-together in Malay-
sia that took place at the MaGIC Centre,
Cyberjaya. The event served as a platform
to meet up their fellow peers, exchange
ideas and share technical knowledge on
PC hardware. First held in 2012, ASUS
Malaysia’s annual Master DIY events
have been a platform tailored to serve
tech individuals who embrace DIY PC as

The
Asian Food Channel, Scripps Net-
works Interactive and BERJAYA Univer-
sity College of Hospitality hosted three
Michelin-starred chef, Alvin Leung, in
Malaysia for his show, Alvin Leung’s
Molecular Madness. Chef Leung worked
with the hospitality students from BER-
JAYA UCH, teaching them how to make
Malaysian inspired dishes with a unique
gastronomical twist.
The dishes made up a five-course
menu and was served at an intimate
dinner with a demonstration event. Chef
Leung brought his own interpretation of
local and international delights, such as
the Tomato
