The first and biggest African event of
its kind in Asia, the AMIFS sees 19 cel-
ebrated and successful fashion designers
from across the African continent present
their Fall 2014 collections in Malaysia in
order to promote and celebrate the rich
African cultural heritage.

For a look at the cutting edge of Singa-
pore’s arts scene, head straight to stalwart
indie arts venue The Substation as they
celebrate their 24th anniversary with this
year’s Septfest. Highlights include an
auction of 30 works by local artists and
a special collaborative ‘yarn bombing’
installation by over 200 contributors
which covers its entire façade in yarn.

ised Harry Experience

Hotel, Singapore
With sold-out performances all over
the world, Potted Potter engages in the
ludicrous attempt to condense all seven
books about The Boy Who Lived into
seventy hilarious minutes. Laugh your
way through as Dan and Jeff attempt to
goofily educate you through sketches,
songs, silly props and a multitude of
costumes on the Harry Potter franchise by
telling a (very) abbreviated and ridiculous
version of the series.
