Get ready to savour a diverse range of delicious cuisine as this programme showcases
the diversity of Malaysian cuisine for a period of three months. It is divided into the
following segments: Malaysia International Gourmet Festival, Asian Food Heritage
Trail, Street Food Festival and Restaurant Food Festival. Selected hotels will feature
specialties, cultural shows and handicrafts from the various states in Malaysia and
around the world.

A test of endurance, the marathon is back
again this year in full swing following its
success last year. The marathon starts
and finishes at Dataran Merdeka and
is flagged off directly beneath the clock
tower of the Sultan Abdul Samad build-
ing. The marathon route passes several
landmarks unique to KL, namely the
iconic Twin Towers, the National Monu-
ment, the colourful Little India quarter,
the majestic National Mosque, the King’s
Palace and the Parliament building.

Get ready for a real adventure at the Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon-
Adventure Series, which covers a challenging 23km route, taking participants up the
Summit Trail to Laying-Layang (2.072m above sea level), before descending to Mesilou
and heading on to the finish line at Kundasang Town. The race offers spellbinding
vistas of Kinabalu Park’s tropical and sub-tropical mountain forests, summit peaks
and river valleys.

Amust-watch for those whole love action
on the race track, this premier motorcycle
racing event is one where you’ll be able
to catch the world’s top racers. Held at
one of the most challenging circuits in the
world with four slow corners following
two long straights and ten medium to
high-speed corners, the wide track is
particularly favourable for overtaking
manoeuvres and plenty of open throttle.
