Viper Challenge 2014
1 - 2 November, Sepang International Circuit, Selangor
One of Asia’s biggest obstacle event, the Viper Challenge is a marquee obstacle-based
community challenge, the first of its kind in South-East Asia. Participants will have to
go through over 21 unique large-scale man-made obstacles across a 20.65km course,
where they will crawl through mud, scale heights, battle fatigue and overcome fears.
The challenge is based on a wave format, which means that only 500 participants will
be released into the Viper arena every 30 minutes. Participants can expect to complete
all obstacles between three to four hours.

A must-go for fishing enthusiasts, the
annual Terengganu Kenyir Lake Fishing
Competition is held at Lake Kenyir, a tour-
ist destination for international freshwater
fishing. Since its inception in 2012, this
competition has been a test of patience and
skills for anglers in luring freshwater fishes
found in the lake. The ‘Catch and Release’
competition is judged by the catch, length,
weight and photo of the fish before it is
released into its original habitat.

Penang Bridge International
Marathon (PBIM) 2014

Held every year since 1985, people fromall

in this thrilling occasion of running across
the third longest bridge in the world – The
Penang Bridge, Malaysia’s very own pride
and joy. This sports event caters to serious
runners, as well as amateur ones from
both local and international grounds.
The PBIM comprises of a full marathon,
a half marathon, a quarter marathon and
a 10km fun run, all is open to those above
the age of 13.
