Star-studded affair at Magnum Pleasure Store grand opening
A taste of Macau

Government Tourist Office (MGTO), Representative
Office in Malaysia is bringing the taste of Macanese food to
Malaysia by inviting Chef Antonieta Manhao from Macau
to demonstrate and introduce mouth-watering dishes.
MGTO is taking this initiative to promote Macanese food
as a Muslim friendly cuisine by using ingredients that are
easily found throughout Malaysia with the event held at
Starhill Gallery Kuala Lumpur.
Guests, at a live demonstration had the opportunity to
see what the talented Chef Antonieta Manhao and her as-
sistant Chef Filomena Noronha could do before sampling all
the tasty dishes like Portuguese Chicken and Bacalhau with
Coconut Cream. Those who missed the event can watch

than 500 pleasure seekers were in
line to experience the customised Make
My Magnum ice cream in Malaysia when
it first opened its doors to the public not
too long ago. It was not a huge a surprise
to see how the grand opening was even a
bigger hit with local celebrities like Ning
Baizura, Nasha Aziz, Alan Yun, Dennis
Lau, Sarah Lian, Erin Malek and Nurul
Wahab who were all in attendance to
indulge in the pleasurable experience of
Magnum ice-cream.
The attendees of the night event
cramped the bar for their customised ice
creams by selecting their preferred naked
Magnum before choosing a plethora of
coatings, toppings and drizzles. Enter-
tainment of the night came courtesy of
songstress Ning Baizura who sang her
hit songs along with DJ Joey G who kept
the party grooving with his selection of
music.
Six celebrities including TV host
Belinda Chee and actress Nasha Aziz
were handpicked as Magnum muses to
showcase artistic creations of Magnum
ice creamwhile adorning accompanying
looks from local designers like Fizi Woo
and Bon Zainal. Each Magnum ice-cream
replica represents six countries of Mag-
num Pleasure store locations worldwide.
Situated in Mid Valley Megamall, the
4,200sq feet pleasure store spanning
across two floors exudes a contemporary,
classy and artistic interior. The immersive
pleasure store can comfortably seat up to
100 people at a time and is also available
for private functions promising a truly
personal Magnum experience.
