The
Malaysian Association of Tour &
Travel Agents (MATTA) fair this year
was held at Putra World Trade Centre
(PWTC) fromMarch 13 - 15, and featured
incredible deals on flight tickets and
holiday packages. Firefly’s participation
in the MATTA Fair saw plenty of attractive
deals, packages and rewards.
Notepads were given away daily from
March 13 - 15 to the first 100 customers to

Firefly recently an-
nounced the launch of
its latest collaboration
with Peugeot Lounge
at the Subang Skypark
Terminal. This offer is available to Firefly
passengers, affording them the option
to experience exclusive Peugeot Lounge
services at only RM25, a whooping 50%
off from the normal walk-in rate of RM50.
The Peugeot Lounge offers complimen-
tary light refreshments, access to WiFi
and internet services, access to Astro TV
entertainment, flight information display,
newspapers and magazines, as well as a
meeting room and a VIP room.
“Our passengers’ convenience and
user experience have always been our top
priorities, so when we realised that we
could improve the offerings further, we
immediately took steps to do so.
“It took longer thanwe had anticipated
because finding the right partner was criti-

flight tickets were also included as prizes
in the MATTA lucky draw giveaways.
Firefly’s Chief Executive Officer,
Ignatius Ong said, “We are very moti-

ATR 72-600 making it our seventeenth
aircraft to date.
“We are expecting a significant
increase in the percentage of sales par-
ticularly on our domestic routes and
holiday packages. We targeted most
of our purchasers to be our very own
Malaysians who are anticipating a relax-
ing break with family and friends, as well
as organisations in search of the perfect
corporate retreat.
Also at MATTA was Firefly Holidays’
competitive packages, which are spe-
cially tailored for Malaysians and are
targeted towards affordability and value
for money.
“It is equally important for Firefly to
be a driver that opens travel opportunities
for members of our community, be it for
business or leisure,” Ong added.
In tandem with MATTA, Firefly also
had an online campaign called “Firefly
Getaway Contest”, which ran from Mar
9 to 15. Participants were qualified to
participate when they purchased a ticket
on any Firefly flight and completed the
slogan: “I want to get away with Firefly
because …” during the contest period.
Two winners were chosen daily with
prizes like Firefly ticket vouchers, cash
vouchers, tickets to LEGOLAND and The
Lost World of Tambun.
