There are two seasons in Vietnam –
wet and dry – although weather varies
depending on which part of the country
you are in. High season is July-August,
with rising prices matched by rising
temperatures.

American dollars are also accepted in the
larger cities.
Vietnam is a known for being a safe
country to travel through. The greatest
risk is on the roads, as traffic accidents
are common.
The national language is Vietnamese but
youwill findthatmostpeople–especially

and cafes –will speak some English.
