The Pureology Experience
Firefly stewardess, Tracy Edward was
invited to Grace Salon in Bangsar Village
II Shopping Centre to experience first-
hand the Pureology Hydrate treatment.
Pureology Hydrate line effectively helps
dry, colour-treated hair while retaining
its fresh-from-the-salon vibrancy with
its ZeroSulfate shampoo containing the
exclusive AntiFadeComplex. The 100%
vegan hair-care line also comes with
ultra-hydrating formulas perfect for
colour-treated hair like Edward’s.
The treatment uses four products
from the line namely Hydrate Shampoo,
Hydrate Condition, Hydrate Shine Max
and Hydrate Hydra Whip. The products
are all made with advanced hydrating
micro-emulsion technology containing
multi-weight proteins of soy, oat and

is also rich in natural conditioning plant
extracts of jojoba, green tea and sage.
Pureology Hydrate Shampoo gently
cleanses without stripping colour with its
concentrated moisturising elements. The
ZeroSulfate formula with the exclusive
AntiFadeComplex delivers a rich lather,
while infusing hair with essential hydra-
tion and colour retention. It contains
natural extracts of rose, sandalwood
and green tea along with ylang ylang,
bergamot, anise and patchouli which
provide calming therapeutic shampooing
experience. As for Hydrate Condition, the
concentrated daily hydrating conditioner
reveals soft, lustrous hair with maxi-
mised colour retention without weighing
the hair down.
The hairstylist used mist machine on
Edward during the Hydration treatment
to break the ingredients in Hydrate Hydra
Whip masque into smaller molecule for
easy penetration. The luxurious masque
provides optimal hydration and restores
suppleness while keeping colour vibrant.
It contains jojoba esters and shea butter
along with aromatherapy blend of rose,
plumeria, sandalwood, amber, vanilla for
calming effects. Edward was enjoying
the relaxed atmosphere at Grace Salon
with extra-added treatment of hot
stone massage and aromatherapy
while letting the masque sit and
be absorbed. All is done in a
dimly lit modern spa room.
The final step before styling
is Hydrate Shine Max which in-
stantly smoothes flyaways and
adds vibrant shine to the hair.

a soft, lustrous finish on Edward’s hair
which towards the end of the treatment
transformed into much healthier tresses
with incredible shine.
