ClubMedHokkaido also has excursions
arranged for its visitors to check out nearby
attractions. These group trips are either
available for participation daily or only
twice a week, depending on the type of
activities. Tokachi Fresh Food Tour for
instance is available twice aweek between
8.30am to 5.30pm. Participants will be
able to enjoy fresh local Tokachi food
and sweets like doughnuts and ice-cream
while shopping at the Tokachi Hills. A
visit to Ryugetsu sweet factory is also part
of the trip together with a farm visit for
the visitors to try the freshness of newly
harvested vegetables there.
Nature Tour, rafting and canoe trips
as well as a visit to Bear Sahoro Country
Club are also available for those who are
interested. If you are lucky, you might
be able to see the brown bear. It is the
largest land animal in Japan and can only
be found in Hokkaido. For some of these
more physical activities, you can always
leave your children in the good hands of
friendly staff at Mini Club Med (age 4 to
10), Junior’s Club Med (age 11 to 17) and
with extra charge at Petit Club Med (age
2 to under 4), just like how it is during
winter.
Change of seasons at Club Med Hok-
kaido is so beautiful that it gives the resort
two separate characters that are both
equally exciting to explore. If you have
been there once, there is just no excuse
not to come back.
one of the relaxation andwellness activities
like Canadian bath, swimming, Jacuzzi,
Japanese Ofuro, sauna and yoga which
will wake up all of your senses and get
you all freshened up. The Japanese Ofuro

not meant for washing but for warming
and relaxation.
Nothing beats great local food made
with original ingredients based on authen-
tic traditional recipes. A delightful gastro-

and dairy products. The restaurant’s buffet
also includes international cuisine with
emphasise in Japanese dishes.
The Japanese are known for their rich
culture that has made its own impact glob-
