UMAI
THIS
raw seafood salad is spicy, tangy and refreshing,
and something of a speciality in Sarawak.
KEK LAPIS SARAWAK
AN
awful lot of work goes into these marvellous layer cakes,
which are made with layers of different coloured sponge cakes,
and is the pride of Sarawakian desserts, available nationwide.
IPOH CHICKEN RICE
IT
may just be chicken (roasted
or steamed) with rice (cooked
in chicken broth) and bean-
sprouts, but there is something
brilliant about this filling meal
that Ipoh claims as its star
attraction. Adding a dash of
chilli sauce and some ginger
completes a wonderfully
distinctive taste of Malaysia.
