Greetings from Firefly and welcome to the December
issue of
FireFlyz!
Oneof themost important foundations of anyorganisation
is a clearly defined purpose. At Firefly, our purpose is to
connect people to what’s important in their lives through
safe, friendly, reliable, and affordable air travel. Perhaps
the purpose is most meaningful during the holidays, when
many of our guests are travelling to connect with family
and friends.
Whatever your reason for travel this month, whether it’s to celebrate Christmas or
to usher in the New Year, we at Firefly thank you for flying with us. Our greatest joy is
making meaningful connections with our guests while delivering them to their final
destinations safely, on-time and with a warm smile.
In this issue, we seek to bring you just a peek into our rich heritage and varied
culture, both at home and nearby. At Firefly, December sees the extremely affordable
fares on all Firefly flights, which include popular leisure hotspots such as Terengganu,
Singapore and Phuket.We encourage you to quickly take advantage of this promotional
fare and plan your holidays ahead with friends and loved ones.
Along the lines of this festive holiday season, December also marks a very special
month for us as we are preparing to take delivery of our second brand newATR 72-600
aircraft from France. This is part of our fleet expansion and refresher programme we
have put in place since last year, whichwill see the entrance of 20 all newstate-of-the-art
600 series aircraft. This plays an instrumental part in our network expansion plan as
well as to refresh our fleet with the primary objective of providing more convenient
options to our guests and more importantly to make our flights more comfortable and
accommodating for them.
Our valued guests inspire us to constantly improve everythingwe do. Fromour Firefly
family to yours, whether you are an occasional traveller or a first time flyer – thank
