is a man of great
ambition and a cool
demeanour. At the
age of 51, he has
amassed a lifetime of
knowledge, skills and
talents to helm such a company as Fujitsu
Malaysia. Unknown to many, Fujitsu is the
largest ICT Company in Asia and the fourth
largest globally.
NEVER BURN BRIDGES
As a man who has held a number of
high-level posts in a variety of global
companies through his lifetime – what is
the one piece of advice he would like to
share with other professionals to help them
along their career path? Warren says with
an honest smile: “My philosophy is very
simple – walk gently, smile warmly, and
carry a big stick behind your back. Try not
to burn bridges, you never know when you
may need to re-establish ties with some-
one. However, don’t be gullible. There will
be many people you meet in life, be a good
judge of character and try to figure out
who your friends for life will be.”
ALTRUISTIC STREAK
“Many people in corporate Malaysia know
me and I have worked at the regional level
over the years. Obviously, I have built a
large contact base at the social and profes-
sional level. How I have managed to do
just that is because of the core underlying
principle that I have just shared with you.
“You must reach out and help others
whenever you can. People say ‘do charity,
do good, help people around you and share
the wealth’. This is good, however it is also
