IIFA Awards are presented annually by
the International Indian Film Academy
to honour both artistic and technical
excellence of professionals in Bollywood.
The first awards were presented in 2000 at
The MillenniumDome in London, United
Kingdom. From then on, the awards cer-
emony has been held at locations around
the world signifying the international
success of Bollywood. Since 2000, IIFA
Awards has expanded from a one-night
event to a three-day celebration, hosting
various events and activities relating to the
Indian film industry. This is the second
time the IIFA extravaganza is held in
Malaysia. The first was in 2002 at Genting
Highlands. Supported by Malaysia Major
Events (MME).
Kuantan160 Century Ride

set on the scenic east coast town of
Kuantan, Pahang, will challenge cyclists
to complete a gruelling ride over 160km.
The route is enriched with the culture

tablishment inMalaysia’s performing arts
industry. To celebrate the joy and share
the happiness, klpac Symphonic Band
is bringing you a merry repertoire that
will surely thrill the audience. The Happy
Birthday Concert will include Slava! by
Leonard Bernstein, Sheltering Sky by John
Mackey, Festive Hymn by Johan De Meij,
Merry Music by Hidas Frigyes, Masque by
Kenneth Hesketh, Momentumby Thomas
Doss and Symphonic Dances #3, Fiesta by
Clifton Williams.
