Firef ly Announces Travel
Insurance Partnership with AIG

To participate and qualify for the campaign, Firefly pas-
sengers had to listen to RED FM, SuriaFM or Capital FM for
the ‘Password of the day’.They were then required to head over
to the designated Petron station for that week, provide a valid
identification card, fill out the relevant form and submit it to
redeem RM50 worth of Blaze 97RON petrol.
The reward was based on a first come first served basis
where only one name per booking was up for entitlement. Each
designated Petron Station had the maximum cap of RM2, 000
worth of redeemable Blaze 97RON petrol.
“This Ramadan, we urge everyone to take this opportunity
to fly back to their hometown to break fast with their loved
ones. To travel more comfortably, I encourage Firefly customers
to check out some of our add-on services such as the Peugeot
Lounge service, Firefly Online Baggage, Firefly Express Meal,
and Firefly Travel Protection. In the next month or so we’ll be
introducing a few new add-on services. Keep an eye out for
them,” added Ong.
Firefly
has recently signed a partnership agreement
with AIG Malaysia Insurance Berhad to provide Firefly
customers with travel insurance cover. The agreement
is part of Firefly’s ongoing endeavor to offer Firefly
customers a wider and improved Firefly Travel Protection
package which comprises 24 hours, seven days world-
wide travel assistance, medical and personal accident
cover, medical evacuation and repatriation service and
domestic and international coverages. AIG is the world’s
largest insurance organisation, with 88 million customers
around the globe.
Customers who book flights via the Firefly website
will be able to add travel insurance cover provided by AIG
under ‘Firefly Travel Protection’ onMalaysia and Singapore
originating flights only.
