Themonth of Ramadan is a holymonth observed byMuslims all over theworld. Muslims
refrain from eating and drinking, but come evening, they prepare to break their fast
with special meals, prayers and spiritual gatherings. Celebrated in honor of the Muslim
fasting month, Iftar@KL features a variety of religious programmes such as Terawih
Perdana at Dataran Merdeka (Terawih prayers); nasyid; Tilawah & Khatam Al-Quran
(Quran Recital) events; food bazaars; special religious forums; talks by international
Imams and many more. This peaceful mass gathering in the city is a great way to
reflect on unity, spirituality and the beauty of a diverse population. All are welcome!

The Vochale Project (TVP) is an all-ladies

cappella
vocal ensemble. Consisting of
members fromvarious vocal backgrounds,
they come together to celebrate the same
passion for singing and performing. Travel
Trails takes you on a journey through songs
from around the world. From American
folk to the heart of Brazil to travelling back
to ancient Japan and the deserts of Africa,
across the waters to Indonesia and back
with works from Malaysian composers,
the show promises an evening with equal
parts of serene, spiritual and buoyancy as
they perform music of both young and
old across the continents, grazing various
genres of classical, contemporary, celtic
and pop.
Janet and Lily struggle with the realities
of living on their own, the bonds of family
and the fragility of young relationships.
