were the desserts of the day. The
Banana Red Bean Roll
is the healthier
alternative to our favourite fried banana
fritters. Each banana is wrapped in ‘paper’
made out flour with a little bit of red bean
sauce drizzled on top
.

gives a tender sweet
and nutty taste courtesy of the bean filling.
Both were delicious.
Kechara Oasis uses only the freshest
and best sourced ingredients in preparing
all of its vegetarian dishes. The attention
to detail ultimately gives a richer taste to
the dishes prepared from scratch by the
in-house chef. Try something different

The inside
When I was invited to sample the vegan
delicacies at Kechara Oasis,Viva Home,
it was an opportunity not to be missed.
Stepping into the restaurant, it was a
whole new atmosphere with the luxurious
furniture. It is a beautiful combination of
wood and velvet merged with carefully
chosen lighting options that made for a
very calming ambiance. The restaurant
is divided into several rooms of different
sizes which serve different purposes and
cater to different occasions like wedding
banquets, launch events, anniversaries
and family gatherings.

The vegan food sampling began with a
refreshing treat of lemongrass tea which
is themost ordered drink at the restaurant.

ity
which is a platter of five signature
dishes including butter mushrooms, jade
rolls, prawn skewers, fruit salad and kung
po cuttlefish. The prawn and cuttlefish are
both vegan, made with ingredients that
include mushroom, seaweed and special
plants from Taiwan and Japan.
