Jam & Kaya Cafe
This
charming cafe, located along
Lorong Sultan in Petaling Jaya, of-
fers simple yet addictive all-day
breakfasts and delicious chocolate
drinks. Their speciality, however,
lies with their fluffy pancakes. The
Jam & Kaya’s Pancake is an out-
standing sweet dish consisting of a
stack of pancakes, served with jam,
kaya spread, fresh strawberries and
blueberries, topped with a generous
scoop of vanilla ice-cream. With
enough espresso-based coffee drinks
to keep coffee addicts satisfied, their
signature drink is the hot chocolate
with choco balls. Richly flavoured
with a crunch from the chocolate
balls, it is amazing.
Yeast Bistronomy
Situated
along Jalan Telawi in Bangsar,
Yeast Bistronomy is a stylish French-
themed bistro and wine bar. Their artisan
French breads are a crowd puller, as are
the mainly French cuisine dishes that
are featured on the ala-carte menu. A
favourite spot for brunch lovers, the
breakfast menu features an array of
croissants and pastries. The prices may be
slightly on the high side, but the quality of
the food and drinks certainly justifies it.
