You have snapped the weddings of some
famouspeople–does itmakeadifference
toyouwho the couple are?
All clients are equal, fair and square. It
really doesn’t make much difference in
the shooting, but there may be some
requests from the client, i.e. privacy,
posting of photos on social media, some
restrictions of photography objects and
formal manners when greeting the royal
family. However, all these aremade known
and understood prior to shooting.
You have travelled all over the world for
your work – do you enjoy that aspect of
your job?
Oh. I like it. Every different country has
it’s own cultures and traditions, especially
during a wedding. It’s really challenging
yet fun and eye-opening to get the chance
to document weddings around the world.
I like places with rich cultures and
history, such as India, Tibet andMorocco.
I hope I can get a photography assignment
in one of those places one day!
Whatwouldbeyour dreamphotoshoot?
I always have this idea inmind: to witness
and capture thewedding anniversary of an
old couple, say the 70th anniversary. That
would be sweet and touching.
Photography is…..dialogue, documen-
tation and deliverance.
Just like another flower in
the valley, I was difficult
to see. Yet you found me

bidding the last rays of
sunset farewell with you
The joy granted by strangers
takes place over a few seconds
but may last a whole life
