Greetings and welcome aboard Firefly.
We are truly grateful for the support from all the
attendees at Matta Fair 2015 for choosing Firefly as their
preferred airline service provider. Just like previous
years, Firefly’s participation at the event last month was
met with overwhelming response. A huge number of
bookings with Firefly Holiday were received throughout the three-day
event. Indeed, more travellers prefer to take advantage of huge discounts
and promotions offered during this type of events to help them decide
and plan their trip effectively.
Additionally, Firefly is launching a new route with flights between Kota
Bharu, Kelantan and Langkawi island. This new route will commence on
Oct 27 with flights available every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We
expect this route to be popular with our customers on the north-eastern
side of the country who wish to travel to the paradise island of Langkawi,
as this route is a direct flight with no transit stops.
To commemorate the country’s 58
th
Independence Day, we ran a
special promo for five days between Aug 24 and 28. To participate,
Firefly’s guests had to look out for special promo in the newspaper and
our Facebook page to get a special voucher code. The voucher code was
only valid for 500 guests per day. It proved to be a huge success with
all RM58 vouchers fully redeemed before 11am daily.
In the following month of September, for only one week,
we offered domestic flight tickets at an enticingly low and
attractive rate of RM29 one-way, as a way to promote
travel within the country.The promotion received a very
encouraging response as it was a great opportunity not
to be missed for families planning a holiday within the
country during school holidays.
We have more ideas in the pipeline to make travelling
more convenient for our guests, so keep a look out for these.
I hope you will enjoy this issue as we fly you to your
destinations. Remember to always plan your
travel in advance and I wish you a pleasant
journey.
