nothing compared to some of
the things that airport security
has picked up.
Human-skull
fragments
You see a nice looking pot
and think, “Hey, that would
make a perfect gift.” You may
be right, but it could also be
evidence in a crime. Passen-
gers aboard a flight in Fort
Lauderdale were seriously
delayed when Transportation
Security Administration (TSA),
found that pots a passenger
had purchased contained frag-
ments of human skull. The
passenger claimed he did not
know that the souvenirs came
with extra body parts. The pots
were confiscated and marked
as evidence while the pas-
senger was allowed to leave.
A Dead Body
Even though it may seem silly
to most of us, this is quite a
common occurrence in air-
ports. Most family members
try to squeeze past security to
avoid the overhaul charges for
delivering a deceasedmember.
A family tried to haul their
deceased grandparent through
security passing the deceased
off as being a sleeping pas-
not work well, when the x-ray
revealed the live infant.
Venomous Snakes
A zoologist once decided
it would be a good idea to
transport his snakes by plane.
Well, he was not necessarily
wrong because some planes
allow dead snakes on board
(with the right paperwork of
course). But the reason he was
caught was because the snakes
were floating around in some
sort of liquid.
Next time you are in the
mood for a trip, go to the
airport’s website and check
on the things you are allowed
to bring on board your flight.
But the rule of thumb, when
in doubt — THROW IT OUT!
senger. This obviously did not
work out in their favour.
Fish
We are not talking about dead
fish either. Some guy decided
to transport 240 live fishes in
four large hard-sided suitcases
via plane. And what did the
suitcases contain? Water and
live fish … only!
A Baby
Parents, please do not put your
infant through the X-Ray air-
port scanners. Airport security
would probably notice a live
baby in your luggage. A couple
travelling from the United Arab
Emirates tried to smuggle in
their newborn who did not
have a visa. This obviously did
