Doyou travel a lotwithyour family?What
is your favourite holiday destination?
We love to go to the beach. It is really up
to the children, as long as we can have
fun together. We have been to Maldives
as well as Phuket. My husband and I
went to Istanbul, Turkey once for a special
program called
Romantika
. Hopefully one
day we can plan a trip to Bora Bora island.
I’ve always wanted to go there.
Would you like to share any final words
with your fanswho are reading this?
To all the readers of
Fireflyz
, always be
grateful for what you have and don’t ever
stop thriving towards success.
How do you manage to stay relevant and garner
even more new fans from different age groups and
generations?
I always appreciate my fans wherever they are. They
are my strength and I admire their loyalty. I organise
our exclusive gathering (Sitizoners) annually where
I will spend time with them.
Howdifferent is theMalaysianmusic industry today
compared towhen you first started?
I’ve experienced a time in our local music industry
when an album could sell thousands of units and
sponsorship for shows and performances came
so easily. It’s more difficult these days with the
interference from piracy and illegal downloads. We
now have, however, a lot of new talent from singing
competitions. Some have even managed to carve a
memorable career in the local entertainment scene.
Your English album,
All Your Love
, was a huge step
in your career. Any plans for another English album?
That album was a great opportunity for me to
venture into the English market. I do realise
that are improvements that I have to make,
but I really hope that I can at least release
more English singles in the future.
Could you sharewith uswhat a day
in the life of Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza
is like?
I start my day early and
head over to the gymwith
my husband before hav-
ing breakfast together. I
try to finish whatever
I have to do before my
husband returns from
work. If I have a show
booked in evening, I
make sure I am home
not later than 12am.
