ShahAlamConvention
Centre (SACC) is known
for i ts capabi l i ty in
hosting and organising
events of any scale.
Formed in 2010 as part of
SACC Convec Sdn Bhd
business segment, SACC Events provides
event management and services as well as
event consultancy for it’s clients.
Since it’s inception, SACC Events has
successfully hosted quite a number of in-
house events such as The Official Opening
Ceremony of Shah Alam Convention
Centre, Showcase featuring Dato’ Siti
Nurhaliza & Krisdayanti, SecretariesWeek
Luncheon with Anita Sarawak, Mother’s
Day Showcase with Maulana Mohamed
as well as Glorious Sessions which was a
12 hour indie band marathon.
In an effort to strengthen the ShahAlam
Convention Centre as the hub of events
in Selangor, SACC Events has planned
various events throughout 2015.
Halaqah
took place back in January,
in conjunction with the celebration of
the Maulidur-Rasul 1436H and attracted
more than 1,500 attendees. Further
enhancement of the program has since
been developed to make the event more
prominent in theMalaysian Islamic market.
When the country was hit by a massive
flood late last year, SACC Convec Sdn
Bhd offered a hand to help Gabungan
Impian Kelantan raise money by organising
Fund for Shelter Charity Golf tournament.
Collection from the tournament will be used
to built houses in Sungai Mas, Kelantan for
the flood victims.
Future Events
SACC Events will be organizing another
Islamic-based event called
Liqa’ Ukhwwah
in the near future. Prof. Dr. Muhaya
Mohamad will be one of the main speakers
at the event. SACC is hoping to attract more
than 3,000 attendees, as the one day event
will be highlighting Islam as a way of life
with activities that involve art, education,
food, medical, Islamic fashion and kid’s
interest.
Planned to be the first of its kind ever to
be held in Selangor, Expo Shah Alam will
feature more than 100 consumer product
vendors and suppliers under one roof. It
will also feature top celebrities and there
