The Publika Shopping Gallery is the place to head to for things
that are different. They recently had a vintage fair that
showcased many retro clothes and other items which were a
real crowd puller.
Blast FromThe Past
I
was quite excited when I heard that
therewasgoingtobeavintage fair at
the Publika Shopping Gallery. Being
a bit of a vintage item myself, I was
looking forward to seeing what was
going tobeondisplay.Thefirst thing
that I sawwas a yellow Volkswagen
camper van. It had it’s booth up and there
was a great selection of clothes, shoes
and other retro paraphernalia on display. I
had a good look around the van and even
went so far as tostickmyhead in theopen
windows tohavea look inside.Thevanwas
one of themost beautiful things that I had
seen recently.

Frombeautiful lamps tocollectableCoke
memorabilia, there really was something
for everyone.Therewas even a stall selling
delicious coffee to keep you going. It was
a great way of spending the afternoon
amidstall thedifferentvintagegoodswhich
mixed in beautifully with the Christmas
decorations that the shopping gallery
had put up. The next time you are looking
for something different, head over to the
Publika Shopping Gallery. You never know
what youmay find.
Time travel

the van physically dragged me out of the
vehicle. I walked at a slow pace as there
was so much to see. The stall owners had
obviously gone to a lot of effort with their
displaysand itseemedtobeworking.There
wasa lot of interest in the things thatwere
being sold and all the stalls had a good
number of people browsing and buying.
As I walked from stall to stall, something
caught my eye that made me stop. I saw,
before me, a Nintendo 64 games console
andSonic theHedgehogon the television.
It was as if I had jumped into a DeLorean,
