Wheredoyouget your flowers from?
We work closely with local wholesalers who
source our flowers for us. Because we order
in bulk, (as we only order the flowers we
need for each day’s specially curated bunch),
they often help us source our flowers from
abroad, from such places as Holland, China
and India.
What doyou thinkmakes youdifferent to
other florists?
We thinkwe are completely different in every
aspect and the only commonality is that we
both use flowers as our core product. For
starters, we operate completely from the
online real estate – we have no physical
retail outlet. We do not cater for walk-ins
and we are not situated in high traffic areas.
Our model is also different in that customers
cannot choose their flowers – we curate one
bunch a day, taking out the guesswork for
the sender. Our bunches are affordable and
offering same day delivery within Klang Val-
ley makes the ordering process very simple.
Youhavebeen friends for a long time, but
how is theexperienceofworking together?
We see each other more than we see our
spouses because we spend so much time
in the office! We had to work through some
road bumps initially, to figure out how we
can work better together and not get in each
other’s faces. What works for us is that
we constantly remind ourselves that our
friendship comes before our business and,
so far, we’ve been doing ok. We’re still good
friends after one year so that’s not too bad!
What has been thebest thingabout starting

We cannot get enough of hearing how a
HappyBunch
hasmade someone’s day! The
encouraging response we’ve gotten has been
nothing short of a miracle and we use this to
propel us to keep going andmaking this good
thing that we have into a really great thing.
