Bodega first opened its doors
as the city’s first authentic
Spanish Tapas Bar in the heart
of trendy Bangsar back in
1999. Fast-forward to 2016. La
Bodega now has five outlets,
including one in Malacca. I
was invited to the La Bodega at Pavilion,
Kuala Lumpur to sample their food. The first
thing I noticed when I walked in was the
distinctive accents of terracotta tiles, deep
red and rich yellow together with the dark
stained timber. Then there is the the distinc-
tive artwork, iconic lighting and the famous
montage of black and white photographic
images of Spain in the 1950’s, along with the
famous suspended wine rack.
Spanish Invasion
With tapas taking the centre stage, experience the burst of Spanish flavours only at La
Bodega.
