belly was straining against my belt but
there were still desserts to try.

Desserts have always been my weakness
and I immediately fell in love with these
two. Gelato that was fresh and creamy
with rich sweet mango and jackfruit
slices. I managed to stop myself licking
the bowls clean through sheer will
power.
I managed to have a chat with Chef
Nikon ‘Kom’ Uatthong who hails from
Chiang Rai. This young man puts
paid to any preconceived notions
that people may have about chefs. He
looked comfortable in his t-shirt and
shorts as we chatted about the food
and his love of cooking. This young
chef has been trained at Le Cordon
Bleu and is very passionate about food
and flavours.
This is definitely one restaurant
that should be on your ‘must try’
list. Great tasting fresh food in a very
relaxed ambiance. What more could
one ask for?
