working much easier for me as I
didn’t have to squint my eyes over my
phone’s tiny screen when replying my
emails.
Breakfast at Aloft is served at Nook,
the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant,
serving local and international
flavours in its buffet spreads. Apart
from the usual American breakfast
menu, you can find local delights
like
roti jala
with curry and prawn
noodles, which I personally enjoyed
having. But if you’re rushing to head
out and have no time for a sit-down
breakfast, you can grab and go at
re:fuel.
When the night approaches, it’s
time to chill out over cocktails and
good music. A fan of live music, I
decided to hang out at the W xyz Bar
on the ground floor where they serve
everything from pints to pinots to
signature drinks, plus a snack-attack
menu, to check out the young and
upcoming indie bands during their
regular Live-at-Aloft events. But if
you are in the mood to move and
groove to the latest tunes produced
by exceptional upcoming DJs, the Mai
Bar is where you should be.
The oh-so-inviting infinity pool,
splash, which sits right beside Mai Bar,
is definitely worth your way up to the
highest floor of the hotel, even if you
would have to take the stairs. Whether
for a quick dip or a few laps, you’ll be
treated to a stunning panoramic view
of the city’s skyline. I know I did, and
I will definitely come back for more!
