Lexy’s Secret Service
Who:
Lex Subramaniam
When:
Early 2012
Why:
Lex’s culinary adventures
began in preadolescence and
revolved around “silly little
dishes” like fried eggs and fried
rice. Years later she worked up
the courage to serve her food
to teenage friends. Their smiles
made her realise that she loved
cooking for others. And so what
started off as supplying cakes to
cafes and participating in food
markets has now culminated in
Lexy’s Secret Service.

The first meal served at Lexy’s
Secret Service.
A full English roast spread. One
of my strongest dishes is roast
and I always feel it’s nearly
impossible to have a nice Sunday
roast without paying a bomb!
There is a fire in your kitchen. You
save …
My wooden spoon and pink
rubber spatula because I bake
all my cakes with it. And a very
sharp knife because knives are
handy!
