Zooming Through
PRECISION,
performance and speed
were the key highlights at the
IWC Ingenieur Driving Experience
organised by IWC South East Asia, at
which specially invited guests were
put through paces of precision driving
through a series of practical sessions
and hands-on exercises.
Held at the Sepang International
Circuit, the IWC Ingenieur Driving
Experience was the perfect event
which allowed guests to further
understand and experience the
parallels between IWC Schaffhausen
and Mercedes-AMG GmBH, a
partnership that has been in place
since 2004. They were put through
the paces of exciting and no less
comprehensive driving exercises,
executed with practical sessions on a
fleet of Mercedes-Benz cars.
The day culminated with a
ceremony where guests were
presented with certificates of
completion, and selected guests were
honoured with prizes such as Best
Improved Driver, Best Male Driver,
Best Female Driver and Best Driver of
the Day.
Racing for a Good Cause
THE
Intermark has successfully
carried out its second charity tower
race, but this time on a much
larger scale, and has made an even
grander difference. By teaming up
with Malaysia’s sole business radio
station, BFM89.9, the BFM-The
Intermark Race to the Top 2013
brought together the corporates as
well as the public in a “race with a
difference, to make a difference”.
A turnout of 465 participants
from a wide range of backgrounds
and a whopping amount of
RM131,637 for charity is evidence
that this goal was achieved. All
monetary proceeds from sponsors
and participants were channelled
to five children’s homes; namely
Rumah Jaireh, Rumah Juara, Shelter
Home, Special Children Society of
Ampang and Yayasan Chow Kit. The
winning team under the Corporate
Category was awarded RM10,000
that was donated to the charity of
the their choice.
