Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit
Based
on the CIA analyst created
by espionage master Tom Clancy,
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is a
blistering action thriller that follows
Ryan from his quiet double life as a
veteran-turned-Wall Street executive
to his all-out initiation as a hunted
American agent on the trail of a
massive terrorist plot in Moscow.
While he appears to be just
another New York executive to his
friends and loved ones, his enlistment
into the CIA secretly goes back years.
He was brought in as a brainy Ph.D.
who crunches global data, but when
Ryan ferrets out a meticulously
planned scheme to collapse the
United States economy and spark
global chaos, he becomes the only
man with the skills to stop it.
Now, he’s gone fully operational
thrust into a world of mounting
suspicion, deception and deadly force,
caught in between his tight-lipped
handler and his in-the-dark fiancée.
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit opens
in Malaysia on January 16, starring
Chris Pine, Keira Knightly, Kevin
Costner and Kenneth Branagh.
Paranormal Activity: The Marked
Ones
On
contrary to what many may think,
Paranormal Activity: The Marked
Ones is about a Catholic inquiry into a
suspected demonic possession, set in a
parallel universe relative to the films in
the main series. It is a Latino “cousin”
to the series, and not an official spin-off
or sequel, and it will feature the demon
from the “Paranormal Activity” series.
Directed by Christopher Landon, the
movie stars Andrew Jacobs, Richard
Cabral and Carlos Pratts. Paranormal
Activity: The Marked Ones opens in
Malaysia on January 2.
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom

journey from his childhood in a rural
village through to his inauguration
as the first democratically elected
president of South Africa. The movie
opens on Malaysian screens January
9, starring Idris Elba as the late Nelson
Mandela, Naomie Harris and Tony
Kgoroge.
