For an app with a simple name, its
price tag is rather hefty. Before you
say no, hear us out. As more online
services require complicated passwords
(alphanumeric, symbols, etc), users are
most likely to use the same password
across all their devices and services.
So all the data stealers need to do
is to break one and gain access to all.

For something developed by three
college students in the United States,
this app is pretty consistent in quality
and updates. It sends out a weekly
report to your preferred email regarding
your phone’s health.
We really like its intuitive user
interface. The icons and functions are
self-explanatory. Aside from protection,
it has a Lock Cam that takes pictures of
potential thieves. If you lose your device,
the Signal Flare function can tell you
where the device is even when the battery
is low. You can choose to sound an alarm
and a message in a last-ditch effort to get
someone to return your phone!
If there are no Good Samaritans
around, you will need to remote lock and
wipe out the device. However, that isn’t
free. You’ll need to pay for that extra bit
though.
