to order the pasta of the day from the
pasta station to satisfy their cravings.
Those with a sweet tooth will be spoilt
for choice with the vast selection of
traditional Hari Raya goodies.
The food was delicious, with every
dish being a flavour explosion. Priced
at RM98 nett for adults and RM49 for
children and senior citizens, the buffet
will be available from June 8 until July
3, 2016 and is worth every ringgit.

One of the highlights will definitely

Manuk Pansuh
, which is chicken
cooked in bamboo. This is a special
dish that is cooked to celebrate the
festival of
Gawai Dayak
, the
Dayak
being an ethnic community in Sarawak.
The chicken, garlic, shallots, ginger
and other ingredients are cooked in
bamboo, which seals in the flavours
and producers beautiful tender, juicy
meat. The whole roasted lamb on
the spit will something else to look
forward to.
Street Food
A unique feature of this buffet is the
street food that is served. The hotel,
showing a flash of brilliance, has de-
cided to feature local street goodies that
are a big favourite amongst Malaysians.
The food that will be available include
Apam Balik
(a type of griddle pancake
filled with peanuts and sugar that
is common in Southeast Asia),
Putu
Bambu
(an Indonesian and Malay cake
which originated from the Tamil
puttu
.
It consists of rice flour cooked with
palm sugar, pandan leaf and desiccated
coconut and steamed in bamboo pipes
and
Roti Jala
(net bread), which is a
dish that looks like a pretty lace doily
and is served with curry.
Sweet Tooth!
There will also be a selection claypot
hot dishes which will be changed on
a weekly basis. Claypots are brilliant
cooking implements as they really
seal in and maintain the flavours of
the dishes that are cooked in them.
