the stunning views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The Petronas Twin
Towers were lit up and looked amazing. There are speciality cocktails
for everyday of the week and I tried Saturday’s, the Hemingway
Daiquiri Shaken. This cocktail was a mixture of rum, grapefruit
juice and maraschino cherries. These ingredients are then
muddled together to form a delicious drink.
Dinner was at the Gobo Upstairs restaurant, an
intimate dining area that serves the most amazing
steaks. The menu here has a good selection of poultry,
red meat and fish and the restaurant also have an
extensive wine list. The helpful and knowledgeable
servers are on hand to help you chose a wine to
pair with your meal.
The steak that I ordered was grilled to perfection
and the meal was enhanced by the live music that
was performed by a young man on a guitar and a
lady who had a lovely voice. This restaurant is a
very classy and elegant place that serves delectable
food.
Breakfast before checking out was the order of the
day the next morning, and what a spread it was. The
selection of food was impressive, from dim sum and
other local offerings to French Toast, pancakes and a wide
selection of breads, fruit, yoghurts and pastries.
Traders Hotel is centrally located and from the impeccable
service to the facilities, she has everything to see to the needs of
her guests.
