Firefly collaborates with Kampong
Kravers, supported by PERTIWI Soup
Kitchen, in feeding the homeless

n May 23, 2016, vol-
unteers from Firefly
Airlines, in collabora-
tion with Kampong
Kravers, treated the
homeless of Kuala
Lumpu r and su r -
rounding areas with a box of sweet and
savoury snacks plus used items that were
in good condition.
The activitywas supported byPERTIWI
SoupKitchen, a registeredNGOwhichpro-
vides food for the homeless and the urban
poor. Firefly, who has a smart partnership
with Kampong Kravers, decided to be an
instrument of hope to those who are less
fortunate andmake everyone understand
that they are not always about business,
but are also there to help those who are
struggling.
At around 9.00pm, 55 volunteers
gathered at Lorong Medan Tuanku 2 for
the distribution rounds together with
PERTIWI Soup Kitchen volunteers and
at 10.00pm, moved to Kotaraya area to
serve another group of needy. Each needy
person received a packet of mixed rice, a
banana, a cup of coffee or tea and a box
of curry puffs and muffins. Firefly staff
also contributed used items like clothes,
shoes and toys that are in good condition,
