For appetisers, there is the
Insalata Caprese

which consists of
thinly Sliced Beef Fillet, Rocket, Marinated Mushroom,
Sun-Dried Tomato and Parmesan. The delicious, crisp
flavours of these dishes will getyou ready for your main
courses.
Prego recommends the
Branzino In Crosta di Sale,
Patate Novelle al Vapore, Burro al Limone
– salt crusted
sea bass served with steamed new potatoes and lemon
butter sauce. A truly stunning dish. Meat lovers should try
the
Tagliata di Manzo Wagyu
, a grilled-to-perfection 200g
Australian Wagyu beef sirloin served in `Tagliata style’,
which means grilled then carved.
There are also wood-fired pizzas and a vast selection of pastas
to try. If ordering a pasta, you have the choice, from short and
small pasta, long to extra-long pasta, or even wholemeal and
egg/gluten free homemade pastas. Once you have made your
choice, match the pasta with your favourite sauce. My personal
favourite was the Gamberoni with King Prawn, chilli, garlic,
parsley, and arugula.
Those with a sweet tooth will find the selection of desserts,
such as the
Tiramisu Tradizionale,
absolutely divine. The best
part? All ice creams and desserts are homemade and prepared by
the dessert and pastry chefs
a-la-minute.
Bubbly Brunch
Prego also takes it one step further by offering a Sunday Cham-
pagne brunch. The
Bubbalicious Brunch
showcases a spread of
impressive and authentic Italian staples from multiple stations,
catering to all taste buds. The starters offer a vast selection, from
an assortment of Italian antipastos and salads, sea scallops and
freshly shucked oysters, a handpicked collection of international
cheeses and charcuterie and homemade Italian breads.
If that is not enough for you, the main courses offer a wide
range of succulent cuts of premiummeats and seafood spit roasted
on a charcoal grill ranging from
Roasted Lamb, Duck Leg Confit
and
Lamb Sausages
to
Beef Rib Eye Steak
and
Tiger Prawns
.
There is, of course, a truly awe-inspiring selection of desserts

This is an all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet and it is a wonderful
way to spend a few hours on a Sunday, with delicious food and

Prego hits all the right notes in terms of food, drinks and service
and I, for one, am looking forward to my next visit.
