The Moon Landing:
Many conspiracy theorists believe that
the moon landing was all staged because NASA desperately
needed the glory of such an event and that the United States
refused to lose the space race to the Russians. Those who
think that Nasa faked some or all of the landings base their
theories on photographs from the lunar surface which they
claim show camera crosshairs partially behind rocks, a flag
planted by Buzz Aldrin moving in a strange way, the lack of
stars over the lunar landscape and shadows falling in different
directions. Apparently the technology that was needed to
actually land on the moon was not present back in the 1960’s.
New World Order:
The New World Order are supposedly
a collection of the world’s most important and influential
people, who seek to eventually form one authoritarian world
government. However, in order to do this they would need
to drastically reduce the earth’s population to around two
billion, with conspiracists believing that they will do this by
staging a mass genocide of the human race.
The group supposedly uses political finance, social engi-
neering, mind control and fear-based propaganda to achieve
their aims. Signs of the NWO are said to be the pyramid on
the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States, strange
and disturbing murals at Denver International Airport and
pentagrams in city
plans. International
organisations such as
the World Bank, the
IMF, the European
Union, the Uni ted
Nations and NATO
are listed as founding
organisations of the
New World Order.
The Aids Virus Was
Created In A Labo-
ratory:
Based on the
theories of Dr William
Campbell Douglass,
many believe that that
HIV was genetically
engineered in 1974
by the World Health
Organisation. Dr Dou-
glass believed that it
was a cold-blooded
attempt to create a
ki l ler virus which
was then used in a
successful experiment
in Africa. Others have
claimed that it was
created by the CIA or
the KGB as a means to
reduce world popula-
tion.
Lizard People:
One of the most far out conspiracy theories
states that there exists a large amount of people who believe
that the world is run by a group of inter-dimensional lizard
people called the ‘Babylonian Brotherhood’. This brotherhood
take the form of political figures and celebrities in order to
influence us and eventually control us. President Barack
Obama is one and The Queen of England is another.
The Death Of Princess Diana:
The news of Princess
Diana’s death caused conspiracies to pop up everywhere,
all of which claimed that the Princess was murdered by the
Royal Family to stop Diana from releasing embarrassing and
damaging information about ex-husband, Prince Charles.
In 2013, Scotland Yard announced that it was reopening the
case of Diana’s death on the basis of a claim that the fatal
car accident was set up by the British Special Forces. The
British and French governments have ruled Diana’s death as
an accident but the conspiracy theories that Diana was killed
to silence her remains.
Area 51:
Area 51 has become so deeply embedded in popular
culture and pretty much everyone knows of the theories that
dead aliens and UFO’s are stored there. Those who deny
that the base is being used to tinker with extra-terrestrials
claim that it is instead used to store secret military weaponry
and vehicles. Another commonly shared belief amongst
conspiracists is that the base is where the remains of the
spacecraft and the ex-
tra-terrestrial beings
found in the wreckage
of the famous Roswell
incident of 1947 are
kept.

Army Air Field claim-
ing that a “flying disc”
