Disneyland!
First opened back in 2015, no Hong Kong trip is complete without a day spent at
Hong Kong Disneyland. The international theme park is located on reclaimed land
in Penny’s Bay, Lantau Island. The easiest way to get there is via underground train.
Hong Kong Disneyland offers interactive rides and tours like the Grizzly Gulch,
which is an Old American Wild West town. The roller coaster ride called Big Grizzly
Mountain Runaway Mine Cars is definitely not for the faint of heart, with its dips
making you your stomach leap up to your throat. The manmade Geyser Gulch is
a stunning sight to behold and the song and dance performance called Welcome
Wagon Show will have you line dancing in no time.
So if you feel that you need a change of scenery, book that flight to Hong Kong
and revel in all the glitz and glamour that it has to offer.
Cuisine is located at Nathan Road, Tsim
Sha Tsui offers middle-eastern cuisine
like kebab, grilled chicken and pita bread
in a very nice setting attended by a bunch
of friendly staff. Another halal restaurant
worth checking out are Islam Food and
Bismillah Kebab House which serves
food that can be eaten while wandering
around exploring the city.
Sight To Behold
Sightseeing in Hong Kong is made pos-
sible in a few different ways. Hong Kong
Tramways is one of them. One of the
earliest forms of public transport in the
metropolis, the tram runs between Shau
Kei Wan and Kennedy Town, with a
branch circulating through Happy Valley.
The most environmental way to travel in
the city is popular among the tourists as
they can view all the old buildings and
scenic city landscape.
Victoria Harbour is located between
Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. This
is where all the beautiful skylines
and Hong Kong’s tallest buildings are
located. The popular light show, A
Symphony of Light takes place here
daily at night. If you have the time, hop
on one of the harbour cruises to seep
in the breath-taking views of the city.
DukLing Harbour Cruise for instance,
offers an authentic experience of sailing
in a Chinese junk along the harbour.
