almost be applied to the
VIEWat GTower. Though
you are not literally high
enough to be in the clouds, it is pretty high
up and thosewho do not like heightsmay
struggle a bit. The best thing to do is not to
look down. Instead, enjoy themusic, food
and delicious cocktails.

Viewoffers two distinctive zones, which
are the cocktail
alfresco
bar area and the
Champagne Room, whichwas where I
was to try the food and cocktails. This
room is available for private functions and
can accommodate around 300 people. It
is a nicely laid out spacewith comfortable
sofa seats and and small tables. Sliding
doors open up to allowa spill over into the
main bar area.
GTower’s VIEW Rooftop Bar is blazing its way into
redefining the standard in Kuala Lumpur’s party
scene. Located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s
business centre, VIEW provides a vibrant buzz,
coupled with the panoramic views from the top
of GTower. Fireflyz fights vertigo and heads there
to sample the food and new cocktails that have
been created for the month of October.

The cocktails came out first
and the looked pretty amazing.
The first one that I triedwas
the
Royal Hibiscus Cocktail
. This
delightful drink ismade from
42 BelowPure Vodka, Joseph
Carton Curaco Triple Sec, a twist
of GiffardGrenadine syrup and
freshly squeezed lemon juice. It
is served in a chilled glass and is
garnishedwith aHibiscus. This
drink is absolutely delicious,
with the sweet flavours going
down very easily.
The
Scandalous Cocktail
was the next concoction
that came out forme to try.
Absolute Raspberry, syrup,
passion fruit, watermelon
and lime juice are all mixed
together to provide a stunning drink
that is very refreshing. And both these
drinks contain vodka. Enough said.
