Malaysia Independent Live FusionFestival (MILLF) 2016

This festival brings toMalaysia a “never-been-done-before” performance of
South India’s Top 50musicians and vocalists. These are independent artists
and some are film industry related instrumental performers’ and back-
ground vocalists. Therewill be five fusion bands performing at the indoor
StarXpo Centre, Kuala Lumpur, trying to compete and outperformeach other.
Though this is not a competition, the professional courtesy and competitions
amongst the artistes will see a brilliant showdown of musical magic.

world tours called Just Rock It!. Their comeback
tour after a three-year hiatus kick-started inMay
with 10 consecutive full-house shows inHong

The recent gigs in Taipei, Kaohsiung and Singa-
pore continued tomark sold-out venues, which
has caused quite a stir in themusic scene. And
this five-member bandwill thrill Malaysian fans
at a one-night only concert slated at Stadium
Merdeka. Jointly organised by Star Planet and
LiveNation, supported byMalaysiaMajor
Events,Malaysiawill be the last tour destination
of Mayday “Just Rock It”Word Tour.

Nearly 70 countries around the
world participate in the Dragon
Boat racing competitionwith over
50million participants in Asia
alone. This event was also adopted as part of
the ASEANGames 2010 inGuangzhou, China. The event in Sarawak attracts
huge global participation and promotes local tourism, thereby increasing
tourist arrivals and receipts. Apart fromthe Dragon Boat races and the
Sarawak Regatta races, local food and handicraft exhibitions will also be
held. Other side events that will be organised include a brooke swim, duck
catching competition, tug-of-war, canoeing and entertainment by local
singers.
