presents two original devisedMalaysian plays;
Still Taming
and
S’kolah
. Still Taming charts the journey of The Girl; seen
through 17 youngminds. Devised froma collection of stories
written by the 17 ensemblemembers, Still Taming endeav-
ours to uncover The Girl’s history, present, and future.
S’kolah tells the story of a new teacher trying tomake
changes in her students’ lives in the early 80s, especially as
they decide their fates after the SPM. The ensemble devised
this play after realisingmany of theirmothers had to give up
a lot in the name of education in this country. Both plays run
for approximately an hour, with a 15-minute intermission in
between.
