Welcome on-board!
It’s a pleasure to have you with us on yet another
pleasant flight. Once again, we bring you an exciting
issue of FireFlyz, with insights to some of Firefly’s
destinations, aswell as exciting events that are coming
up.
As most of you know, this year is a very special year for Malaysia
as we celebrate the fourth Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) with the theme
‘Celebrating 1Malaysia Truly Asia’, which aims to reflect the diversity
in unity of all Malaysians. VMY 2014 will be celebrated on a grand
scale – the grandest thus far –withhundreds of events and festivals lined
up to welcome tourists from all over the world. It was announced by
TourismMalaysia that the Government’s target is to receive 36 million
tourist arrivals and RM168 billion in receipts by 2020.
In support of Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) 2014, Fireflywill beworking
closely with Tourism Malaysia to showcase the various locations in
Malaysia that are both serene and beautiful, which truly are worth
visiting. So keep a lookout, folks! Our collaboration with Tourism
Malaysia is so big, you definitely won’t miss it.
