Yes, we all had involvement with
music individually before we got
together and became Salammusik.
Would you say that being part of
Salammusik changed your life?
Without any doubt our involvement
with Salammusik has changed all our
lives as a band and as individuals,
mostly because of the hard work
we’ve been putting in as a team and
a family, as well as the recognition
and the success that’s been paid off,
matching our focus and persistence.
We can honestly say that this has
become a lifetime career.

Pelat and the oh-so-catchy
tune, Alamak, which
features Malaysia’s multi-
talented rapper, Altimet,
Salammusik has come a
long way to bring their music across the
globe. Starting as far back as 2006 the
official formation of the band only took
place around 2010 during the release of
Cerita Kedai Kopi. Today, Salammusik
consists of Salam, Tip and Eyza Bahra
on vocals, Payung, Jazmi and Jambul
on horns, Adam on keys, Kamal Razali
on guitar, Efri Arwis on bass and last but
not least, Bulya a.k.a. Boy on drums – a
combination of talents and opportunities
that makes the band who they are.
