The LEGO® Movie
The
first-eve, full-length theatrical
LEGO adventure from Warner Bros,
The LEGO Movie is an original 3D
computer animated story that follows
Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following,
perfectly average LEGO mini-figure,
who is mistakenly identified as the most
extraordinary person and the key to
saving the world. He is drafted into a
fellowship of strangers on an epic quest
to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which
Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously
underprepared. Directed by Phil Lord &
Christopher Miller, it stars Chris Pratt,
Will Ferrell and Elizabeth Banks, with
Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.
The LEGO Movie opens in Malaysia on
February 6.
Welcome to Yesterday
Despite
being one of the smartest kids
in school, David can’t seem to excel in
dating. In his efforts to attract Jessie, a
popular girl in school whom he has had
his eyes on, he made an attempt to win
the science fair and a college scholarship.
As David’s late father was a scientist, he
decides to look through his belongings
for ideas and discovers secret plans of
a time machine. Find out what happens
when David and his friends decide to
build the machine and things start to go
wrong. Welcome to Yesterday opens in
Malaysia on February 27, starring Sofia
Black-D’Elia, Allen Evangelista, Ginny
Gardner, Sam Lerner and Jonny Weston.
Labor Day
Labor
Day centres on 13-year-old Henry
Wheeler, who struggles to be the man
of his house and care for his reclusive
mother, Adele, while confronting all
the pangs of adolescence. On a back-
to-school shopping trip, Henry and his
mother encounter Frank Chambers, a
man both intimidating and clearly in
need of help, who convinces them to take
him into their home and later is revealed
to be an escaped convict. The events of
this long Labor Day weekend will shape
them for the rest of their lives. Starring
Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, Gattlin Griffith
and Tobey Maguire, Labor Day opens on
Malaysian shores on February 6.
