in to bring out the cookie dough taste.
Sing Yee sees the internet and social
media as a way to test out the market,
as healthy snacking is a relatively niche
market in Asia. Getting her products on
to supermarket shelves was a big personal
achievement in 2013.
From the Kitchen to Beyond
For the Health Nut – Nuts
Enough
Nuts
Enough is all about eating well
and feeling good with what goes into
the body. They believe in eating clean
wholesome food 80% of the time, with
small indulgences here and there. The
owner, Sing Yee, a Psychology and Crimi-
nology graduate from the University of
Melbourne, who also holds a diploma
in Fashion Business from the London
College of Fashion, started eating healthy
during her days as a student in London.
After a stint in Zalora, Sing Yee saw
a gap in the market when it came to
healthier spreads, as only the usual
peanut butter and plain nut butters
could be found in supermarkets. She
then made these healthy spreads for her
own consumption, before jumping on the
opportunity to make them available to the
masses, which led her to quit her day job
to kick-start Nuts Enough.
The brand has two ranges available –
Healthy Goodness and Sinfully Indulgent.
The Healthy Goodness range has an array
of snacks that are yummy andwholesome

like the flavoured Nut Spreads (made
with almonds and cashews), baked
nuts and baked chips. There’s also the
Healthy Banana Bread that’s made with
whole-wheat flour and Greek yogurt.
As for the Sinfully Indulgent range, the
mouth-watering Malted Blondie (which
contains Maltesers) is a definite must-try.
Sing Yee also comes up with seasonal
specials during the festive celebrations
such as the Salted Caramel Brownie and
Peppermint Brownie during Christmas.
The Nut Spreads are crowd favourites,
with best-selling flavours being the Maple
Cinnamon Almond Spread and the Honey
Almond Spread. Sing Yee’s personal
favourite is the Cookie Dough Cashew
Spread that has bits of chocolate swirled
in and a texture that is almost like eating
actual cookie dough.
Unlike many other brands, Nuts
Enough does not use preservatives in
all their products. The nut spreads have
no added oil or sugar. They are natu-
rally sweetened with real maple syrup or
honey, except for the cookie dough range,
which has a bit of raw brown sugar added
The nut spreads can be purchased at
