Factory is showing no signs of stepping back. As the oldest match
makers in Malaysia, the nation’s pride has produced export quality
matches for household use, as well as for commercial use in hotels
and corporate events.
Located at Jalan Atas Banggok in Kota Bharu, the factory is a
playground for the curious and photography enthusiasts alike. Awalk
through the factory is enriched with an impressive display of skills by the veterans,
performing their everyday duties on machineries that have been operating since the
factory was established in 1933. Every final product in the factory – from the matches
to the matchboxes – is made from scratch with full of passion and patience from the
old timers.
