“I have certainly experienced personal
growth with this job as it has exposed
me to various complexities in the airlines
industry. I’ve become better in balancing
the bottom line and retaining customers
through excellent service delivery stan-
dards, both in the air and on the ground.
Besides that, I’ve also learned how to
balance my time between the important
things in my life – my job and my family,
especially my young son.”
Being part of the team
“Being able to listen to the cabin crew is
important so that I can understand their
challenges and understand the things that
they are facing every day that refrain them
from doing a better job so that I can help
take those things away and do something
about them. That’s how I make sure that
they are well taken care of; simply by
listening. No day is ever the same and I
have to be ready to handle anything that
comes my way. We take care of each other
as part of the cabin crew and as part of the
Firefly fsamily as well.

the cabin crew is not an easy task as well.
Individuals have to go through almost
threemonths of training where they’ll take
lessons on grooming, introduction to avia-
tion, learn about the cabin from the inside
out and the toughest of all – safety and first
