Well here’s a tip on what you can do for
your weekend of nothingness: check-in to
an affordable hotel for a night and enjoy
its facilities. My recent check-in was at
the Best Western Premier Dua Sentral.

As it was conveniently located near KL
Sentral, which was accessible via the LRT
from my house, I decided not to drive as
having my car with me will only motivate
me to go to the nearby mall. Understand-
ing the needs of travellers, Best Western
Premier Dua Sentral provides a shuttle
service to and from KL Sentral. I boarded
the bus ride which took approximately 10
minutes to get to the hotel and arrived at
the hotel to the friendly greetings from
their staff.
Checking in was a breeze and I was
led to my One Bedroom Suite on the 22
nd
floor, far away from the city buzz. My
ultra-spacious suite featured a king-sized
bed in the bedroom, and a separate
living area adorned by a comfortable
sofa …with a 32-inch TV in both rooms.
As if that wasn’t enough to make my
stay memorable, I was welcomed with
a sweet selection of cakes, macaroons
and candied fruits that I enjoyed while
taking in the city view through my wide
bedroom window.
For business travellers, the suite is
furnished with a well-equipped desk
for them to work on. A mini kitchenette
is also installed in the suite, making it
suitable for long stays.
After taking in the sight of my suite,
I made my way to the infinity pool
