Sarah Chang is an American classical
violinist who has performed all over the
globe and collaboratedwithmajor orches-
tras like New York Philharmonic and the
Berlin Philharmonic. The virtuosic violin-
ist returns to Kuala Lumpur this month
to play
Dvorák’s Violin Concerto
, music
full of lyricism and Bohemian dance
spirit. Shostakovich’s
Tenth Symphony
is
a tremendously powerful and persuasive
musical statement, one that sweeps the
listener through a vast landscape of emo-
tions from deep sorrow to immense joy.
Definitely a performance that will take
you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions
that you just can’t afford to miss. Tickets

Myles Kennedy and The
Conspirators Live in Malaysia

After incredible success with bands like
Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver, Slash
embarked on his solo career with a debut
album featuring all-star line-up like
Iggy
Pop
and
Fergie
back in 2010. Driven by the
success of the album, the top-hatted mu-
sician and songwriter collaborated with
his touring band mates Myles Kennedy,
Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz which makes
up Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators
for another solo album. With the release
of his third solo album -
World on Fire
and
accompanying world tour, Slash is ready
to mesmerise his Malaysian fans with
a night of rock ‘n roll not to be missed.
Tickets for the concert are now on sale

Miri Country Music Fest 2015

The Miri Country Music Fest is back for the second time after an overwhelming
response from country music enthusiasts last year. A total of seven bands from
Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Nashville, USA will be performing this year
includingMel & Joe, Hi-Breed, KareemSalama and Country Sisters. The concept for this
year’s festival is similar to the
first one held in 2014 with a
bazaar selling a wide variety
of food, games and souvenirs,
music workshops and night
concert. Tickets to the festival
are priced at RM80 each for
adult (inclusive of one drink)
and RM40 each for a child
between three and 12 years
old. Each child ticket entitles
the holder to either one free
soft drink or an ice cream.
